Peltor is known as a very innovative company. It was formed 40 years ago based on the scientific research made by Mr Tore Palmaer for the Royal Swedish Air force. Still Peltor is a leader in research and development regarding head, eye and ear protection. 230 people are working in the worldwide Peltor Group including the US based Peltor Inc. in East Providence, Rhode Island. One of the many specialities of Peltor is hard hat systems for chain saw operators. A patendet tri-function unit offers head, face and hearing protection.
